Antique Record-Cabinet For Sale – Price Is Negotiable

This antique cabinet is for sale. It is a record player cabinet that was originally designed to store records, and a record player. It can be used as a regular storage: storing books, disks, and other miscellaneous items. At the same time, it is a perfect display cabinet. Its doors can be opened such that it can display a range of items.

About the Cabinet: The cabinet itself is a fine and elegant piece of furniture. It was made in England in 1970, and transported to Canada: the cabinet is over 50 years old. This furniture is made from cherry oak wood: rare type of hardwood. It is perfectly intact from all sides: all sides are made from hardwood. Despite the age, the cabinet is still in excellent shape. With proper care and use this cabinet can last another half century (if not more) of active use. The handles are original, and they are in excellent condition with original rivets: there is no rust on the metal parts.

The cabinet is more darker-crimson color in real life than it appears to be in the photos. Its texture is rich and pleasant to the eye.

All metallic hinges, rivets, and screws are original, and are in an excellent condition. No rust. No defects. Shiny and clean.

The cabinet was cleaned before being posted for sale. It is absolutely clean. No dust layers, nor debris. Perfectly clean and ready for a new owner.

The Cons: The cabinet is 50 years old. As a result there are a few minor defects, but nothing too serious. The original wood is still strong. It has minor dents and a few tiny scratches. Those scratches can be easily resolved with wood touch-up paint.

Another defect worth mentioning are the plastic latches. Because of the age the original plastic latches crumbled into pieces. Some details are missing. However, the original screws, which held the latches, are still strong and useful. The missing latches can be easily replaced. Despite the missing latches, all cabinet doors can be opened and closed smoothly and easily.

The price for this cabinet is negotiable.

Feel free to send us your offer if you are interested.
